Each pattern has its own TPB (ticks per beat), 4 by default. Machines keep a default TPB for new patterns.
Drum machine: 16 pattern slots with a play head, note names you can type, and a velocity fader per voice.
Drum machine patterns in the tracker have a pattern column and a trigger column per voice.
Placed patterns show as blocks in the sequence for as long as they play.
Pattern length can be set to any number of rows.
The machine name in the pattern editor opens a list of machines and lets you rename the machine.
Rows, tracks, TPB and octave are chosen from menus.
